Suggest Remedy For High Bp

hello doc i have hypertension im taking medicine...micardis 40mg in the morning and amlodiphine 5mg in the evening.....but yesterday night my bp was 153/103 and my heart rate was 95....after 4 hour i take again my bp was 130/90/78....im in danger ? my age 40...thanks doc

Thanks for contacting HCM. dear patient please remember that electronic BP instruments can't be relied upon to make dose adjustments for high BP. I hope you have not missed a dose. If we take readings at face value then 153/103 was high but as the subsequent readings were normal so it appears there is no immediate danger. though I would suggest that you go to your doctor and get your BP measured with a mercury sphygmomanometer to clear the confusion and confirm or rule out the rise in BP. regards
