Hi there, I am 40 years old and two months ago I had gone through couple of blood test and came to know that my FBS was 11.4. So I started glucophage twice time daily. Now I have reduced my weight in 2 months about 9 KG. Today I checked my BS after 2.5 hours of meal. My blood sugar level was 183 and I am very worried.

Hello,
Uncontrolled diabetes leads to weightloss.
Your sugar levels ar still uncontrolled and you require some more medications to control it.
Along with medicines, you should do regular exercises and observe proper diet control.
If your weight is still in your BMI range, then there is nothing to worry.
On the contrary loss of weight helps in better control of blood sugar levels as it decreases insulin resistances hitch is mainly responsible for high sugar levels in type 2 diabetics.
Consult a diabetologist for proper management of your sugar levels.
Thanks
