Hi Farhad,

Welcome to HCM.

Based on the limited information you have provided, your blood pressure can be certainly categorized as pre-hypertension if not hypertension at this time. This means that you will be symptomatic in the near future if not controlled. Looking at your lipid profile, your blood cholesterol as well as triglyceride levels are certainly elevated.

Lifestyle advice: Wherever applicable to you, limit the intake of fried food and increase the intake of vegetables and fruits, and foods rich in fiber. Daily physical exercise such brisk walking to endurance exercise such as running or cycling or swimming every day for 30minutes is a must. No smoking. This may help lower your blood pressure.

Suggested medications: In similar cases, I have advised fenofibrate in addition to statins. If exercise and diet control does not help reduce your blood pressure, then low dose anti-hypertensives such as diuretic or beta blocker or angiotensin receptor blocker can be prescribed.

Hope this helps.
