Hi I was in a trauma accident 2 years ago in July 2012. The results of my injury was a hematoma & bruising. I ve had several out patient procedures having it drained with drain tubes all 4 times I ve had it drained from August of 12-October of 12. Then since Oct. 12 thru June 13 there was so much fluid that built up in my hip & gluteal area, I had to have surgery opening up my hip & having it drained & a pocket carterized, then had a drain tube placed until 3 weeks following surgery, which was mostly blood. I just found out approx. 4 months ago per arthogram study ordered by a new ortho dr. I went to I need total hip replacement due to detached cartilage & no fluid or blood flow to my femur head. Now I m in P.T. to build up the muscles for a better recovery. Now I have fluid back going down through my hip & gluteal area & now up in my thoracic spine area, that I have to go in and get drained again, and no answers from any drs. of why it keeps coming back and where it is coming from, which is all mostly blood each time it has been drained. Do you have any recommendations of any tests to asks my current drs. what they can do to find out where this is coming from. It is causing so much pain swelling & pressure in my back, hip and upper thigh it debilitates me.
