Suggest Remedy For Headache Along With Neck Pain

Have had over 2 weeks pain in neck after waking up with crick in neck one morning. Pain is causing me headaches on daily basis. Had one 15 chair message and a one hour regular message to work on problem area. Also, tried muscle relaxer a couple days. Still lots of pain.

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have headache along with neck pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptome you mention in query like cervical spondolysis , migraine tension headache or trigger point of terpezius muscle . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may ask you to do some movements and feel by touching . Doctor may also order x-ray or CT scan to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may recommend particular type of stretching exercises and strengthening exercises . He/she may also prescribe muscle relaxant , drug like eprisone and recommend steroid injection or surgery in case of nerve compression . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist if he/she find problem to be related with migraine . For now keep yourself relax and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
