Suggest Remedy For Growing, Painful Skin Tag On Inside Of Lip

I have a skin tag on the inside of my lip in my mouth I've had it since I was a kid because I used to bite that piece of skin when I was nervous, and I recently bit it on accident and bit it open. Now it's bigger and hurts when I do anything and it feels weird. How do I remove it by myself with out having to get skin tag removal surgery

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the piece of skin that you are having on the inside of the lip that is hanging seems to be a soft tissue Overgrowth known as a Fibroma and as you bite or hard it has got swollen due to inflammation leading to pain and increase in size..

The first thing that I would like to tell you is that do not try to remove it on your own as it can further become painful and there can be infection..

You should consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated and he can remove it by excision under local anaesthesia followed by antibiotics and painkillers..

As of now you can apply numbing gel over it to relieve pain..
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Do cool compresses..
Avoid spicy food to prevent irritation and take soft diet..
