Suggest Remedy For Foot Drop After Knee Dislocation

On November 23, I had a bike accident which led to knee dislocation.. After treatment I got foot drop due to damage to peroneal nerve.. I have tried physiotherapy for 9 months but no results came.. I have been told surgery is the only option left.. So i want to know where and what surgery can i get..

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
It is unfortunate to note that you have landed up in foot drop following knee dislocation due to accident.
It is caused due to damage to a nerve called 'common peroneal nerve'
By this time, with 9 months of physiotherapy, you must have recovered from the injury.
But since it has not happened, Surgery is the only means by which the injury due to compression can be corrected.
You need to get this done from an Orthopedic Surgeon after undergoing certain investigations.
