Suggest Remedy For Fluid Collection In Indention On Shin
I banged my shin a couple of weeks ago and bruised it pretty badly. The bruise got better but there seemed to be an indention in my shin where the bruise was located. Now, there is fluid in this indention. I was wondering if it would be ok to remove this fluid myself with a syringe.
Hello, I have studied your case and I would not recommend you to do this. Fluid aspiration by needle should be done by trained person and that also in operation theatre. I would recommend you to visit a orthopaedic surgeon and get his advised. It would be better for you to start antibiotics and hot water fomentation. That will help in dissolving this fluid completely. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
