Suggest Remedy For Fever & Throat Blisters/sores

My 2 year old has had fever on and off for 5 days. In the middle of all this, I took him to see a Dr, who said that my child has strep throat and was given 3 days antibiotics. Now, the medicine is gone and he is still with fever. During these 5 days, he had only eaten 2 yogurts,1 cup of broth and 1 small bowl of chicken soup. It seems that he only wants juice but nothing else. I have forced heim to take all that food while he screams with tears. He wakes up every 30 minutes to 1 hr throughout the sleep of the nite. While napping , he would also wakes up many times before he finally gave up or I pulled him out of the room due to the exhaustion. He has blisters and sores in his throat and mouth and has had blood on the wipes after pooping for 4 months. And he is kissing weight....anything I can do?

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome to HealthcareMagic

I do understand your concern and extremely sorry for your son's condition. Do not worry! He will be alright soon.

My honest advice is to take him to ER at the earliest, he seems to be dehydrated. This can worsen his problems. He will require change in antibiotics and intravenous fluids to correct dehydration.

I pray to god for his speedy recovery.

Regards
