Suggest Remedy For Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat Post Intake Of A Tablet
about two hours ago I swallowed a half Advil pm. it felt like it scratched my throat and went down the wrong way. I drank a ton of water and ate a lot of bread but it still feels stuck. my breathing is fine and I haven t been throwing up and I have no chest pain. is the pill dissolved? can I go to sleep?

As per your query you have feeling of something stuck in throat post intake of a tablet , Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like tonsillitis , esophagitis , esophageal ring , diverticula and sore throat . Sometimes when we eat something the sharp edge on that particular thing either scratch the lining of throat or make it irritate , which further inflammation of lining of mucosa . This thing feels like something stuck in throat . I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles thrice a day and avoid eating hard food , acidic food . Try to eat soft food like banana for one to two days . If condition doesn't get better then consult ENT specialist . Doctor may examine with laryngoscope and order other test like CT scan to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory .
