Suggest Remedy For Extreme Hair Loss Post Treatment For Chicken Pox

Hi, I had chicken pox about 2 months back. Since then I am facing hair loss. Hair density has reduced a lot and my hair line has also receded. Mostly hair fall when I move my hands in my hair. Even small hair fall and I can see them in my hands. Please suggest a solution

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern about your hair loss.
Hair fall could be due to the side effect caused due to the use of antiviral drug which you had taken for your chicken pox.
Gradually your hairs should regrow in a couple of months. In the mean time, use shampoo containing Selenuim and Zinc twice a week for 6 weeks as these compounds reduce oxidative stress on scalp and help to regain your hair.
