Suggest Remedy For Extreme Bout Of Allergic Hives On Body

My 14 year old daughter has just gone through over 24 hours of severe reactions (body covered in hives) in emerg. 3 epinephrine shots 4doses of Benadryl interveniouly, plus a cocktail of meds to get rid of hives. She now has severe stomach pain, vomiting any food and diarrhea. Should I take her back to the hospital? No idea what caused allergic reaction. 37.5 fever

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seem that she has got a severe allergic reaction leading to hives and stomach pain, vomiting ad diarrhea can be due to allergic reaction while can also be due to side effect of the medicines that are given to her in loads..
I would suggest you to immediately take her to Emergency room or an Allergist and get her evaluated along with allergic tests like RAST test, Patch test, food challenge test etc to rule out the exact cause of allergic reaction and treatment can be planned accordingly..
She will also be advised to take anti emetics like Domperidone to relieve vomiting, anti diarrhea medicines like Furazolidone and also fluid replacement orally as well as intravenous drips..
Tylenol will be advised for fever..
