Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have an ear infection and the symptoms of pain and discomfort on touching the side burn area is due to infection..

But an exact diagnosis can be made only after a clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, x ray, ear swab culture etc to rule out the exact cause of the problem and treat you accordingly.

You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, antibiotic and analgesic ear drops..
Avoid excessive water exposure to ears and avoid picking the ears..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
