Suggest Remedy For Dry Cough

Hi, my daughter is suffering from dry cough since 3 days. She has been taking nebulisation with asthalin since yesterday, three times till now. Now the cough has still not subsided. Apart from that she has been taking Ambrodil-S 5 ml. Please advise if I continue with antibiotics.
AGE: 3+ years. Height- 3 ft weight- 15kg Medical History- Nothing

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted your child having dry cough..
So it could be viral flu or allergic one....
Here I dont think antibiotic given as no phlegm or mucus present....

Simple antihistaminic might needed to relieve inflammation...
Antitussive like dextromethorphan syrup might given...
Avoid passive exposure to dust and smoke...
Respiratory rate and auscultation examination done ....
If bronchoconstriction then bronchodilator given.

Honey help in soothing respi tract.
