Suggest Remedy For Dog Bite

Hi i m sry if i put this in the wrong category i couldnt find the right one...I got a puppy about 2 months ago it hasnt been out around wild animals so never got bitten or anything, well its too young for the rabies shot so it has not been vaccinated yet. The other day it bit me and i was worried you could have given it to me, is there anyway my puppy could have gotten rabies before i got it which was about 8 weeks ago, its now 20 weeks old.

Hi thanks for asking question.
You have bitten by dog.
Bitten area should be washed with soap and water.
It is better to take antirabies vaccine in your case.
When dog bite occur that area should be thoroughly cleaned with water.
If wound is severe then stitches taken.
Prophylactic antibiotic can be taken.
For pain relief take over the counter analgesic.
