Can having an ear infection or having excess water in ear cause constant repetitive rhythms in my head? I had water in my ears on vacation, on the flight back home I experienced excruciating pain in my ear. When I got back home I could not hear for days. I bought an over the counter ear wax remover and slowly got hearing back in my right ear. Since then I have had the constant feeling of water in my ear and pain behind my ear....Now I have sinus pressure and ear pain. I noticed a week ago that I get a constant repetetive tune in my head and am wondering if the ear problem has caused this.
You seem to have a eustachian tube block from your complaints due to sinus disease, aggravated by travel.and so forth. Need to take anti inflammatories, nose drops/ sprays steroids last resort. An X ray or a scan of ear and sinuses may be required in view of pain behind / mastoid. Simple wax can just be cleared by by BT soliwax
