Suggest Remedy For Delay In Periods

Hi Doctor, My wife got periods on Sep 19th.We had sex on Oct 1 and 2. But I didn t cum in her. But we are worried that pre cum has entered. She didn t get periods till now. We had pregnancy test in clinic which came negative. Doctor suggested for urine blood and ultra sound scan all came negative. We are worried why periods are not coming as we are not planning for pregnancy until 2 years. Is there any chances that the reports will turn after ten days again. Is it possible to abort through medication pills. We confirmed doctor that we at any cost doesn t want a baby. Doctor gave susten 200 mg for 5 days. Please help us. Thanks.

Though the chances of conception are high in view of the intercourse taking place during the fertile period, since you got the pregnancy excluded through the blood test and sonogram, there is no worry. Stress, sudden weight changes, infections, cysts on the ovary and use of certain medications are some causes for abnormal menstrual pattern. As your doctor prescribed medication to induce the period, please wait for 3-7 days after completing the course. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
