Suggest Remedy For Cough, fever, Headaches And Stiff Neck

I am wondering if I should take my grandmother to the hospital. She is currently on day 3 of what seems to be a flu infection. It started with a terribly dry cough and mild fever. She complained of a stiff neck and severe headache. Her cough has gotten better and she is now coughing up my my phlegm, but will not eat or drink much at all today.

She is 74 years old. I am 18 years old and seem to have gotten infected with the same thing my grandmother has. Shivers, fever, whole body pain, coughing, head pain and mild nausea are my symptoms. What should I do?

Hi,
It seems that you got same viral infection through air due to hard coughing of your grand mother.
Take complete rest and avoid going out.
Take analgesic and decongestant medicine for 3-5 days to get symptomatic relief from pain shivering and coughing.
Take plenty of water and liquids.
Take light diet.Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.
