Hello Let me explain about this cough ( as symptoms mentioned by you in your query). Sometimes airways hyperresponsiveness that is secondary to inflammatory airways disease that results in recurrent ( as in your case , as you mentioned ) or chronic episodes of wheeze, shortness in breath ( sob ) heaviness in chest &/or cough at night or early in the morning. This is a characteristic feature of asthma due to any allergen such as pollen , mold , fodder , fine dusting powder ( predisposing factors). When such patient visit my clinic I advise them to take monteleukast+ bambuterole tablet once or twice in day depending upon the condition and severity of disease. Since this is a prescription drugs so please consult a physician and get his opinion. For sore throat I advise hot saline gargles , if no relief within 2 day then levofloxacin 750 mg / day for 5 days . Hope this will help you.
