Suggest Remedy For Chest Congestion And Coughing

I have chest congestion. Pain while coughing. Coughing has started but is mild. I had fever last night. I consulted a doctor who gave me Azithromycin, paracetamol, vitamin C & levocetirizine. I want my chest congestion to be cured & mucus inside chest to come out. Pl. suggest come medicine / remedies.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should start mucolytic and expectorant drugs.
You are having chest congestion. This suggest mucus in the lungs.
So mucolytic and expectorant drugs will break these mucus and make it easy for expectoration.
Since these are prescribed medicines, you need to consult your doctor for prescription.
If you are not improving after 1 week then get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection ( pneumonia ).
