I am preparing a dish that needs a lot of minced garlic. I just minced at least 3 heads of garlic with nothing but a knife and my hands. Now my fingertips which were used to hold the cloves in place burn. They have some minor cuts, not reaching the epidermis or bleeding. How do I alleviate the burning sensation? I already washed them thoroughly, applied sour cream, applied butter, and washed again.
