Today while I was at work I was sweeping (something I do often) and my hand started really hurting. I looked at my hand and noticed a bruise on my palm. I m not sure why this happened. i have gone through your complaints and under stand your concern.
u seem to have strained some sort of soft tissues in that region that might be causing pain and inflammation.
if its not warm and hot..give ice packs and rest.
if it worsens get an xray done to find out whats wrong.
start analgesic and anti inflammatory tablets.
