Suggest Remedy For Broken Shoulder

i recently fell and landed on my shoulder. after xrays, the doctor said i had broken my shoulder. actually, i broke bones in my upper arm. one rod and several screws later, it is still called a broken shoulder. my question is, shouldn t it be called a broken arm. the top of my shoulder still hurts as does my arm. i m just curious.

After going through your query I concluded that you got fracture of upper end of humerus. For which a rod and screws was put in many directions. Medically these are called fracture of neck of hemerus or fractured of upper end of humerus. But in non medically it may be called broken shoulder because its fracture line involves joint and its movements. As these fractures cause stiffness of shoulder so top of shoulder is painful.
