Suggest Remedy For Blisters In The Genital Area

Hello. So, I have went to the doctor for a rash and blisters on my genital/rectem area. After urine std test came back negative they ordered me acyclovir which I still don t think is helping. I had more blisters in other areas of my body and am concerned that it s just flea bites (three dogs that like to sleep in my bed). I am waiting to get a blood test done but if Thats negative too, I m wondering if this is the culprit. They have become infected also. Can you please help me? Thank you,September.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having herpes genitalis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and levocetrizine for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral acyclovir taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
