Suggest Remedy For Bedwetting With Odor And Acne After Being Off Strattera
My 14 year took herself off of Strattera. It s been a month. Her acne has gotten worse and she is weting the bed often. It has a strong skunk odor. I thought the medication could cause these problems. SHe was on the 30mg dose since fourth grade and now in 8th said it did nothing for her. I think she should go back on it and increase the dose.
Straterra (atomoxetine) is used in ADHD and also off labelly in conditions like nocturnal enuresis. It's not clearly mentioned why Straterra was prescribed for your daughter. Whatever might be the reason, tapering off atomoxetine should be done slowly and only under the instruction of the consultant. If any of the symptoms recurs, Straterra has to be restarted or increased to previous dose. As your daughter is 14 years old, the dose of Straterra is based on her weight. Do visit your consultant to determine the exact dose. Hope the above information helps you. Thanks.
