Suggest Remedy For Anxiety

I don't know whether I should go to the doctor about this issue or try to deal with it on my own. I have been dealing with severe anxiety for the past month, and I keep telling myself I'm going to get over it but I'm not. I had a severe anxiety attack about a month ago that sent me to the emergency room, and now I fear death so much to the point where I have become derealized, I feel like if I go to the doctor he won't take me seriously, cause when I went to the emergency room for my panic attack i feel like the doctor brushed it off like it was nothing. I can't even sleep at night because I'm afraid I'm going to die, I don't know what to do.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Dear User,
You seem to be in great distress and the best person to understand and help you is not the doctor in emergency room but a psychiatrist. You seem to be having recurrent panic attacks which might be a part of panic disorder or depressive episode. In my practice I usually treat it with an antidepressant like Tab. Escitalopram (10-20 mg/day) or Tab. Paroxetine (around 25 mg/day). In my opinion you should consult a psychiatrist and discuss about your problems because there is certainly a treatment for it.
Wishing you a speedy recovery and good mental health.
