Suggest Remedy For Anxiety Attacks

I have been having difficulty getting a deep breath. I have, in the past, had anxiety attacks due to this and am taking Lorazapam before I go to bed. This has been happening for the last three or four nights and I find myself staying up until 3 am or so. I am overweight and had a gastric bypass several years ago.

Hi,

It appears your breathing difficulty is more at nighttime. You are overweight as well. Both point towards a possibility of obstructive sleep apnea. Lorazepam is likely to worsen this problem. I would suggest that you consult a good doctor and get some tests done for a proper diagnosis. There are other medicines for anxiety, that would suit you better than lorazepam.

Best wishes.
