Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. 15000 is not too high to think of any major abnormality.
2. A peripheral smear evaluation will be more helpful.
3. Meet your doctor for a Peripheral smear.
Thanks.

Hi welcome to HCM
I have gone thru your query regarding elevated WBC count of 15000 .I can understand your concern .
Dear , you have not mentioned your age and the specific reason of your hospitalization .
The normal count should be 4300 to 10800 per cm .Higher than this can be symptom of some infection
There are many factors causing elevated WBC count . WBC play an important role in your body’s immune system, searching the blood for invading viruses, bacteria, and fungi and attack and destroy the invader before it can cause disease .
Removing the cause will help you achieve your goal .
Any way , your elevated count may be a reaction to a drug that increases white blood cell production. A disease of bone marrow, causes abnormally high production of white blood cells.
Stress – finally, emotional or physical stress can also cause elevated white blood cell counts. Good news is that white blood cell levels will return to normal after the stress is gone.
Smoking, constipation ,sleeplessness dehydration also main causes .Avoiding will help to reap a better health
To keep your levels in check, avoid eating foods that are high in fat, calories, sugar, and salt (such as fast foods). Aim for foods that are high in antioxidants like vitamins C and E, fiber, calcium, ,Walnut ,fax seed , fish oils for Omega 3 are all essential nutrients required to balance your diet for healthy living and strengthening your immunity -a surety against diseases .

For lowering pain and inflammation include garlic, ginger ,lemon juice grapes, herbs - turmeric powder a spoon in a cup of hot cow milk spices, soy protein, nuts, olive oil, black and green teas, and vinegar, Aloe Vera juice all help . Aim to eat at least six servings of fruits and vegetables per day ,
For proper blood circulation and detoxify your body do regular physical activity as exercise ,walk , Yoga ,pranayam - Deep Breathing , and Meditation for strong immunity

Hope this helps solve your query Take care All the best
