I have read your question and understand your concern. from your question I understand that you have a recurring smelly rash between your toes which sometimes hurt. this is known as intertrigo. intertrigo are caused by accumulation of sweat and cell debris. this gets infected by yeast and anaerobic bacteria. I see a lot of patients with similar problem and they respond well to a short course of antifungals. I usually prescribe tab fluconazole 150 mg stat along with clotrimazole cream twice daily. I suggest you wear an open footwears to avoid excessive sweating. also you should get your blood sugar checked as sometimes intertrigo can be a sign of diabetes.
