Suggest Remedy For A Cyst In The Ovary

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ?

I have to have an ovary and complex cyst removed in a few weeks. I asked my OB/GYN if I must be fully intibated, she said yes..I want to have an epidural during the laperscopic procedure but she said no. I was not fully only part intibated during an uterine abalation 2 yrs ago. The tube did not go fully down my throat..just pushed my tongue back and I was sedated. What do you think?

hi dear,
the decision for anaesthesia either epidural or general anaesthesia, is based on the age of patient, type of disease and type of procedure to be done.
in laparoscopy we inflate abdomen with CO2 gas, so general anaesthesia is preferred. in spinal or epidural analgesia you may feel shoulder pain.
