Suggest Remedies For Swollen Lower Lip

Since Monday my son s bottom lip has been swollen. No other issues...tongue & throat are not swelling. Eyes are not puffy, no sores in mouth, no visible canker or zits in or around/under lip. He isn t allergic to anything. Hasn t eaten anything unusual in the past 3 days. No food or other allergies of any kind. Has been icing it down since Monday and it goes down some, but over night it swells back up. Skin is tight, no longer tender since he began putting vasoline on it. Just need a remedy so he can get relief. It s huge.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you might be having some allergy, internal or external giving rise to allergic swelling on lip.
Give him antihistamine like Cetrizine or Benadryl for 2-3 days.
Ok and take care.
