Suggest Remedies For Swollen Feet And Hands

I am experiencing lots of swelling in my feet and slight swelling of my hands. It started last week after a five hour flight. I returned home yesterday, and have been trying to hydrate with lots of water, taking breaks to lie down with my feet elevated, and even icing them. Nothing seems to be helping. I traveled to a warm humid area, and the weather here has become hot. I am not in any pain. My skin is tight and uncomfortable. I have traveled many times, but never had this problem before. I have also gained about 20 pounds recently. Is that a contributing factor? What can I do to help the swelling. None of my shoes fit.

weight gain may be a factor but you may be experiencing venous insufficiency, recommend compression stockings and rest and elevation as much as possible. if it does not improved then you may want to see your primary care to rule out other possibilities such as heart or lung issues
