Suggest Remedies For Severe Itching After A Tympanoplasty
hi im 20 years of age and had a tympanoplasty on the 18th august 2011. It has been a week and i have followed everything to the letter but i can't stop the itching what do I do its driving me crazy. My ear wick does not come out until 8th September. please help me!!

Post tympanoplasty itching could be due to fungal infection,allergy to ear drops,dermatitis of external skin.Only examination of ear can confirm diagnosis.Till then you can take zyrtec(OTC) once a day.The doctor might tell you the need for cleaning the ear depending upon the condition.
