I have had issues with uti's a kidney infection and vaginal yeast infections in the last 2 months. I actually had all negative urine dips for infections yet had all the syptoms of it. Was put on antiboitics not once but twice because of recurring symptoms.I have an appointment with a urologist next month. I am now expeirencing dscharge no itching or burning but light yellow could this be another yeast infection from the antiboitics and should I try monistat to clear it up or should I get another pap done had one done two weeks ago everything came back ok
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Recurrent infection along with vaginal yeast infection indicates reduced immunity along with resistant organisms infections. 2. To improve immunity, you need to improve diet particularly rich in protein, vit C, vit E and B-complex. Also you need to take plenty of fluids. 3. Get a urine culture and sensitivity done to identify appropriate antibiotics. For yeast infection, monistat will help. you continue it. Another pap smear after a week will demonstrate reducing infection. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
