Suggest Remedies For Productive Cough With Mucus Leading To Vomiting

Had a bad cold/flu in Jan. Cough, low fever and lots of productive cough. Green and yellow. Took antobiotics, z-pack. Better but still cough for another 2 months. Then 2 weeks ago had a severe sore throat. Gargled with salt. Throat better in 2 days but still coughing and very productive clear mucus. No fever. Energy better but coughing hard enough to vomit tonight.

Initially there was cough , low grade fever , productive cough i.e. expectoration ( mucus) Z pack used but cough still present . Sore throat improved but coughing very hard.
These symptoms may be due to these possibilities , these include:
1 The first possibility may be ' BRONCHIECTASIS , as yellow and greenish clor expectoration in large quantity and foul smelling is characteristic feature of bronchiectasis .
Get in XRay chest and sputum culture .
2 Tuberculosis as you mentioned that there is cough and low grade fever initially so this is an indication of tuberculosis . Get in X RAY chest and blood for C B C & E S R . Sputum for a f b .
3 Allergic bronchitis is the another cause of such symptoms .
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination is very important.
