Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello doctor, My age is 28 yrs, I got burn on my face few months back...someone suggested betnovet c cream to remove the mark, the mark is completely gone after applying the cream for few months. I discontinued the use now but suddenly i started getting lots of severe and pimples on my face..... I never had any pimples in my teens. what should i do now to get rid of these pimples?
Pimples could be due to causes hormonal imbalance, pore clogging, oily and dry skin, bacterial infection, sun exposure and inflammation. I would suggest to consult dermatologist for examination and take proper treatment. Following treatment will help you. Apply ointment containing salicyclic acid/clindamycin and benzyle percxide.
Use face wash containing salicylic acid. Application of retinoids at bed time also useful. Use exfoliative face wash, two times a week. Avoid oily/fatty/spicy food. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy diet with green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Do regular exercise to maintain body weight. If drugs will not respond then microdermabration and chemical peeling can be useful.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
