Suggest Remedies For Persistent Cold, Sore Throat And Pain In Ears

Hi. I started with a cold 2 weeks ago. It presented firstly with a sore throat. The sore throat ended up migrating to just the left side of my throat. Other symptoms followed and subsided within 5 days except that the left sided sore throat remains. It is now accompanied by pain in my left ear and a dull headache in the left temporal region. General neck pain has presented this evening but not the main issue. What are some possibilities? Should I see a dr.? Or is it just the last of my cold or could it be muscular - post cold strain?

You are having upper respiratory tract infection which needs to be treated properly with proper antibiotic.
Advice
1.     Levocetirizine 5 mg daily per oral for 7 days
2.     Azithromycin 500 mg daily per oral for 5 days
3.     Take ibuprofen 400 mg per oral after meal if pain is really intolerable. Otherwise avoid it
4.     Do gargle with slight warm salt water four times daily
5.     Do not eat heavily at a time. Eat smaller meals
6.     Do not lie down immediately after meal
7.     Avoid dust, smoking, alcohol, dry environment, cold and spicy food
8.     Avoid coffee and tea after meal
