Suggest Remedies For Painful Lumps On The Bicep Muscle

I have a very painful lump on my bicep muscle about 3/8 inch or a bit bigger on the inside of arm, so if I put my arm down to my side it brushes against my side. my bicep muscle and my shoulder both have considerable pain. I tried to grab a yard waste barrel half full of rain water that was falling over. I felt pain when that happened.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible, since the pain occurred after trying to grab an object, that it represents an area of muscle spasm on the muscle.

You can consider applying a warm compress to the area. This would help to relax the muscle. It can be done for 10 to 15 minutes, 2 to 3 times daily.

In addition, the use of an anti inflammatory medication would help eg naproxen, ibuprofen or cataflam

If there is no improvement, your doctor may need to prescribe a muscle relaxant for you.

I hope this helps
