Hi,
Pulmonary hypertension is increased bp in pulmonary blood vessels. It is generally associated with underlying lung disorder like Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease & others. It can also be because of some cardiac abnormalities.
Mild pulmonary hypertension generally does not require treatment & can be controlled by treating the primary cause.
It can also be present in obese individuals where controlling of obesity is the primary treatment. Specific treatment for Pulmonary Hypertension is required in severe form or moderate symptomatic form.
So follow the advice of your physician & you will be fine. Mild leaky valve will not cause much symptoms & can be normally present in some individuals.
Thanks
Take care
