Suggest Remedies For High Blood Sugar Of 371

I have type 2 diabeties. My level was 371 last night. I felt very odd. Exhausted and achey and some confusion. I only had 1 cupcake. If one cupcake can affect me this bad, should I avoid sugar altogether? And when do I know it is time to go to the ER?

Yes my dear...
You have to avoid sugars completely.. Taking sweets made out of Sugar free substitutes is fine. I think you should check up your fasting and post prandial levels and if fasting is more than 200 and ppbs more than 350 you can consult your physician for dose adjustment. I dont think you need a trip to the ER right now (Provided you discard the remaining pancakes)
All the very best!
