Suggest Remedies For Diarrhea And Running Nose In An Infant
Hello Doctor, My baby is 15months old weighing 13kg. He is suffering from loose motion from yesterday. He also had running nose from last few days. Now he is having loose motion after every 30mins which is wattery and little sticky greesy like stool. Please suggest us what to do? I have prepared bifilac syrup and is giving 5ml twice a day. Please let me know what else can be done?

I have gone through your query. It can be viral gastroenteritis. You can give probiotics like bifilac. Give adequate hydration and electrolytes according to loss. You can give ORS. But if baby is not taking fluids then hospitalization might be needed. Consult a pediatrician in such case.
