Suggest Remedies For Dengue Fever

my boyfriend, who is in Bangladesh now, has got fever ...doctor suspects it's Dengue, though he didn't get the blood test report yet. As I'm living in KSA, is it safe for him to chat with me? And what are the things he needs to do to get rid of the fever?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Dengue is a viral infection and self limiting .
There is no definite treatment as such, needs only symptomatic treatment as paracetamol. Needs a real very good bed-rest if he is really fatigued.

Chating - depends - if he is felling good with your chating - continue for a short time.
Please ask him to undergo all the tests and have clinically examined by a Doctor...
So that the treatment can be taken properly.

Wishing him a good recovery
