Suggest Remedies For Cracked Skin Inside The Nostrils

Hi, I have cracked skin on the inner corners of my nose for a while now and it looks horrible when I put on makeup and its really bothering my self confidence, what should I do? I ve tried exfoliating to get rid of dead skin cells and keeping the inner corners of my nose moisturized but nothing seems to be working.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per query you have symptoms of cracked skin inside the nostrils. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic rhinitis ,anterior ethmoidal nerve neuralgia , atrophic rhinitis , cocaine abuse , nasal polyp and furuncle . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like nasal endoscopy , CT scan , blood test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti inflammatory , anti allergic and may recommend surgery in case of nasal polyp . For now apply warm compresses to nostril , take steam twice a day and do nasal saline rinses .
