Suggest Remedies For Constipation

Hello there. My 20mth old daughter has hard stools, but drinks a lot of liquids and passes a lot of urine. This is a recent occurrance. What else can I do to help aid her constipation? I am wondering if it has anything to do with her getting hold of the salt box, am sure she ate some.

Plenty of fluids is a very good thinking, in fact that was the first thing I would have suggested myself

The other option at 20 months of age is to make sure that the child is dewormed. Parasitic infestation many times causes the constipation and is simply relieved on deworming

And finally, if feeds have been started, try to make them somewhat more fibre rich. But thats only if top feeds have been started. The formula feeds are usually poor in this component
