Suggest Remedies For Constipation With Advise To Avoid Stool Softeners

I had a surgery 2 weeks ago, i did bleed for 2 days n was in severe pain for a week but now i am quite relaxed as the pain is there but its tolerable, unlike before. Since i was visiting the rest room more than 5 times a day i was advised by my doctor to stop having stool softeners,which i did.But i dont pass complete stools.Need some help?

Hello. I'd suggest Miralax and oral mineral oil as two non-stimulating laxatives to help with this. But you should run this by your doctor
