Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should definitely take him to hospital to rule out pneumonia.
Lung infection (pneumonia) is very common in cold, snowing environment.
His symptoms are more suggestive of pneumonia.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and chest x ray.
He may need higher antibiotics and other supportive treatment.
Don't worry, he will be alright. Just take him to hospital.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your boyfriend. Thanks.
