Suggest Remedies For Broken Blood Vessel In Sclera

I have a broken blood vessel in the white of my eye. There is about 1/8 spot of blood, plus half the white is red. I had no injury, no fall. This happened, apparently, while I was singing Rachmaninoff with my chorale! I am a 76 year old woman. Thanks so much

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Bleeding in the sclera what you are describing could be caused due to mild trauma which could have been unnoticed by you.
In any case, you can use anti-inflammatory Eye Drops Flurbiprofen 3 times a day for a week. Gradually the congestion will reduce and the symptoms should clear completely.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
