hi sir...i am 32 years old male...i am safraing with acidity in stomch long back...now adays i am geting sore throught with acidity...so my dr told me to test TSH i did it..in result i got for 0.43-4.1 this is normal..i got in my report its 4.20 Free T4 is normal...so my dr told me to we just ignoire this and u dont need to worry abt it..u just take medicein for acidty he given..zentak to use for 1 months....is it right to ignore when my TSH test shows little high..is any relation for TSH hig with acidity...plz can u answer
Hi welcome to HCM, A level of 4.20 TSH is not high. Your doctor did the TSH because you had hoarseness due to sore throat probably caused by acid reflux. Myxoedema( low thyroid functioning) can also cause hoarseness--regards
