Suggest Prognosis Of A Severely Calcified Aortic Valve

My great great uncle who is 98 recently visited his cardiologist. 5 years ago, his cardiologist noted that he had a slightly calcified aortic valve. After his most recent appointment, the cardiologist noted that his aortic valve was severely calcified. I have a slight understanding of this, but I would like to know more. And, if at all possible, get an estimate of how much time he might have left. I would greatly appreciate any information you could give me.

hello,i have gone through your question. Thanks for using HCM.i understood from your information that his aortic valve is severly calcified, but at the same time i would like to know about degree of narrowing, is it severely stenotic? If it is severe stenosis then i also would like to know what are his symptoms?if he has shortness of breath, chest pain or giddiness, then it is certainly serious. But at the age of 98 its prognosis can not be considered serious and we have a procedure called TAVI available to offer him valve replacement.
i would certainly wish that he completes 100yrs.
my regards and best wishes.
