Suggest Possible Treatments To Cure A Large Mass In The Chest

My boyfriend had thymoma cancer 22 years ago & just found out their is a large mass in his chest in the same location. He needs to have a biopsy done but we were not impressed with the pulmonologist who saw him. Should he find an oncologist to perform the biopsy?

Ideally it would be advisable to consult a thoracic surgeon for the biopsy as the approach for biopsy is well decided by them. Even a oncologist would probably take their help for performing biopsy , also depends on location of the mass. After confirming cancer you may require oncologists advice.
